David N. Cole
Attorney Cole is currently a member of the New Hampshire Supreme Court Professional Conduct Committee, the committee that reviews and acts on all complaints of professional misconduct against New Hampshire attorneys, and is former President of the Grafton County Bar Association. Attorney Cole is the author of numerous published legal articles on various aspects of the law, is a regularly featured speaker at seminars on legal topics, and regularly acts as a mediator for the Superior Courts of both New Hampshire and Vermont. The firm’s practice focuses on a contingent fee basis (the firm takes a percentage of the recovery and the client does not pay the legal fee until the conclusion of the case, and only then if there is a recovery). In each case, as soon as the client has reached a medical endpoint (maximum medical improvement), the firm prepares a detailed settlement proposal. After the client approves this proposal it is sent to the wrongdoer’s insurance company. This proposal includes all medical records and medical bills, police reports, photographs, witness statements, and other relevant information. We have learned through experience that one of our carefully crafted settlement proposals effectively presents our client’s case, and almost always results in an extremely favorable settlement without the case needing to proceed to litigation. The firm also regularly represents clients with other business or civil disputes. The firm has significant experience representing homeowners or contractors involved in construction disputes. The firm also represents a number of banks, finance companies, and other businesses involved in collection activities, contract disputes, or business issues, including the incorporation of new business entities.
